About Frontier Corps
Frontier Corps KPK is the front line defence system working in the area from Broghil Pass in North to the area Gomal River in South. This force has a century of victorious history and is among the first responders to any terrorist attack or natural calamity in KPK. It is a paramilitary force that is stationed in provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan and maintains law and order situation in these areas. They also look after the Country’s frontier borders with Afghanistan and Iran. FC is an umbrella term used for the two Auxiliary forces that are part of the other military forces which maintain control in western provinces of Pakistan. These forces are divided into two parts one is FC NWFP, which are stationed at KPK and FATA and another is FC Baluchistan. Both the forces are headed by General who is also a Pakistan Army Officer and the Force is under the direct control of the Interior Minister.
